I think they did a great job of casting but whose some actors you think could've been on there during 97-06
Lorraine Bracco was casted to play Carmella at first but she wanted more of a challenge playing somebody opposite of her Goodfellas role
Would've expected Frank Sivero to pop up in this show
Everytime Carmine Jr. speaks, it makes me wonder how Bobby Cannavale would’ve performed on this show. I would’ve liked to have seen that for sure.

I loved the ending.

The REAL ending to the show from a literary perspective was when his shrink kicked him out and called him a con artist loser according to the latest revelations of modern psychiatry. All his antics, his fake love of animals and all that other shyt is him being the con artist that he is. He deserves no pity or nothing.
Thats all Tony is. A sociopathic degenerate loser. I was so happy when it happened. The rest after that is fluff. That was the real ending. Show was the first HBO classic.

Dammit. He killed my boy Ralph Ciperetto over a damned horse. Yeah Ralph was weird but he was a top earner and a made guy and your Captain. Geez. No Tony. No.

Overall Furio was my favorite character on the show. I remember one scene all they show is Furio knocking on some french guys door and thats it. The scene cut off when the door opened. Audience already know what time it is. We dont need to show how Furio get down. WE KNOW. :wow:

Furio went hard at that Asian massage parlor "stupida facking whore" :picard:

Funny how Carmela had the best point when Meadow said she was 18 and could do what she wanted: that's the kind of thing that children say, not adults.

Tony with that missing sock kills me every time. Meadow knew she took it too far. I know that she had every right to be disgusted by Tony's business, but you can't take the high road about it while you're spending his money, you know? If it bothers you that much, go get a job.

Carmella saying that was stupid though..she let her kids be raised by a murderer. Her line of thinking is beyond fukked up..so pointing out Meadow spending his money makes no sense coming from the view that Carmella doesn't work and turns a blind eye to just how much danger her husband puts her biological kids in daily, weekly, yearly.

Sack was spending bc the feds were seizing everything, he was the only real family man on the show

Bobby Bacala was, too. Remember when Janice was scaring Bobby's kids so she could be a mother figure?

Yeah, but Meadow was standing there telling her family what she wasn't and wasn't going to do AND expecting them to bankroll it. They told her not to go (and rightly so - she wasn't going to class and lied about her summer job, IMO). If Meadow went to Europe w/o Tony's money, she wouldn't last a day.

My parents didn't want me to go to school in Florida. I went to school in Florida, knowing I was going to have to make my own way (until they FINALLY relented junior year). That's the difference, IMO. You want Tony to pay your way to Europe, you do what Tony says - wife, kid, that's just how it is. *Silvio shrug* You can't do anything about it as a kid, of course. But Meadow was an adult. You resent Tony's mob money, then don't spend it. (I'll give a pass to the Columbia tuition.)
