I prefer The Wire. None of their characters ever had a case of food poisoning and could suddenly see the future.

wire is better. sopranos would go off on a tangent with those dream episodes sometimes. the wire just would get straight to the point with total realism. greatest show ever.

this is a silly ass post all over the place... season 5 followed by are the two best seasons of sopranos...

the wire is a "much" better written show... first of all its not better written at all... but "much" i have to conclude you skimmed through sopranos because season 5 shet between tony and buscemi is some of the best written shet in the history of television...

i love the wire... but sopranos is the goat show of all time.

I love the Sopranos..but technically..as a story, the Wire shiits on The Sopranos.

I dont see how you can claim otherwise..Sopranos was a bunch of great episodes cropped into a single season..it wasnt as cohesive as the Wire.

Second, Season 5 of the Sopranos was dope but it wasnt as dope as the Wire's season 5..hence my post.

2nd part of 6 was shytty as hell..I was there watching the episodes EVERY WEEK..it was underwhelming.

I liked part 2 but it was NEVER up to the Sopranos standard..Season 4 was much better than part 2 of season 6.

Ok look everyone has there own oppinion... but ranking season 1 over 4 or 5... i literally can not understand how you justify this... the show got so much deeper and better as it moved on... season 2 has its moments... but the show progresses and improves every season up until 6 which obviously was a shet show but is still good television.
