8 years ago, i was in my basement thinking my tv power got cut when tony was at the diner
everytime i hear that journey song i think of the diner scene

I wonder when people watched this live did they think something was wrong with there cable box or TV when the screen went black
thought something was wrong with my tv, i jumped up, then the credits rolled

Not a fan of the ending but i had withdrawals when i finished up with this show, the journey made me think i was part of the mafioso with them all

I stopped watching Sopranos at around season 4-5. I had heard how much the ending pissed people off and how bad it was ect. and had never finshed the series and saw it for myself. I just assumed it was wack like everybody said.
I ran through the whole shyt on Amazon Prime like 3 months ago and I thought the ending was brilliant. Then again I didn't see it with as much emotional attachment as people did who sat and waited on the last season in real time.

Yup. It was the underlying uncertainty that Tony constantly had to live through. Fans just need to make of it what they will.

I have a theory about the opening sequence (and why it's so simple, yet brilliant) that, to my surprise, I've never heard discussed anywhere. Maybe it's too obvious or maybe I'm wrong...
Nah. Like 2-3 days after that article David Chase said he was misquoted. He's never given a definitive answer either way.
