The crew had lost some of their biggest earners even before the war with New York. p*ssy, Ralphie, Gigi, Vito, Chris, to a lesser extent Eugene. Plus Furio was gone.

After the war they've lost Bobby, Sil is on life support and probably not waking up

Plus Carlo has flipped

I feel like Benny was on the rise though. But that's about it. Patsy was a bum. Tony would've needed another stimulus package from Italy.

New York really could've squashed them.

The crew was past their prime in the final season. Bleached, washed out looks. Hardly anymore laughs in front of Satriales. Hardly anyone significant in the circle was at Tone’s family cookouts anymore by that point. They were six feet under instead or damn near about to be.
