Pretty much.
Is he really a Somali leader? Republicacs label any minority who endorses Trump on stage as a community leader.
Actually they are now Americans, but then again Trump called America a garbage can. So they moved from a shythole to a garbage can. They may have a point but they are happily supporting someone who called their continent a shyhole.
I'm failing to see how what you said in this post is a Dem issue the Republicans would resolve. When I get taxed I wonder WTF am I getting taxed for? We have special elections for ordinances on raising taxes for certain things. This election we had a prop for raising money for education, which I agree in Texas is not the most well funded so I voted for it. Then again in some places there's enough money but they're using it frivolously.
I've also seen some propositions to raise money for animal shelters which I was against because we have a homeless problem that we should deal with. I do wonder where our money is going. That also means stuff like us spending too much for the military.
I'm saying some of the stuff that Democrats on the far left (not center left) are proposing will potentially increase taxes on the average citizen potentially. The republican party could move their party more center if the trend of Democrats going more left continues.I'm failing to see how what you said in this post is a Dem issue the Republicans would resolve.
Zero chance if they winA lot of people feel they don't have a place in the Democratic party. Regardless of the outcome, I hope that Democrats go through some sort of rebranding over the next 4 years.
What are the Democrats proposing that will increase taxes on the average citizen? Are your referring to the bond issues you see on ballots. You realize those are non partisan right?I'm saying some of the stuff that Democrats on the far left (not center left) are proposing will potentially increase taxes on the average citizen potentially. The republican party could move their party more center if the trend of Democrats going more left continues.
I'm saying this in terms of how American politics can operate in our two party system.
BTW I don't think MAGA is the answer. In the 90s Democrats and Republicans didn't differ from one another THAT much outside of a few policies. That's why Clinton was successful. He'd probably be a republican in today's political climate or at least centrist.
This thread might be a social experiment because they're MAGA, so there should be automatic insults and ridicule, but they're also African and you can't talk about Africans on the coliYall in here talking about everything BUT the Somalis voting for Trump.
Even if true the place of Somalis in the Republican Party is anywhere but inside this country but honestly they’ve had it relatively easy here so far as a block. Should they suffer some shared US hardship they’ll see what’s what. Ask the Haitians, Somalis are just one rumor away…A lot of people feel they don't have a place in the Democratic party. Regardless of the outcome, I hope that Democrats go through some sort of rebranding over the next 4 years.
