The Lakers have decided --at least for now -- they're better off with Pau Gasol. Story w/ @espnsteinline http://espn.go.com/los-angeles/nba/story/_/id/10159195/pau-gasol-los-angeles-lakers-no-longer-trade-block… Lakers did engage in exploratory talks with several teams but never got too far with any of the discussions. Preference has been to keep Pau. Lakers were encouraged Gasol's resurgent play & his efforts to make amends for his recent public spat with coach Mike D'Antoni.
