But them getting the regular season record is not why Curry got hurt. He got hurt in Game 1 of the playoffs.
If they don't win the championship then yeah the season is a failure but it won't be because they "went" after the regular season record
Not sure I actually believe he hurt this same foot when they played the thunder. The game he hit that darn near half court shot to win the games. Also when you have long playoff runs plus playing the season it takes a toll on your body and increases the risk of injury. Pop in San Antonio even mentioned this.
Let's not forget curry also had calf and lower leg issues this year so that causes issues with ankles and knees because you favor other parts of your lower body.

Look at the clip carefully. Beasley clearly used his arm to clamp down on Draymond's arm, yes Draymond did swing him around, but that's because i) they both initiated the contact to begin with ii) Beasley holds onto his arm after Draymond initially tries to push away
