I haven't seen (but heard good things) Breaking Bad...but The Shield is better than 99.9% of shows out there.

And season 5? With Kavanaugh? and Lem?

Not too many shows are even to close to fukking with it.

def my favorite season of the shield but season 4 of breaking bad is right there But gotta say the character development of kavanaugh was amazing. Crazy how they made that dude lose all that weight to show how obsessed he was
- the problem with the shield it was inconsistent as hell in terms of quality. After the goat season 5 they dropped the ball terribly with season 6. Thankfully they went out good with the 7th season.

the only weak season so far of BB was season 1 (and thats because they were setting everything up) since than the show has been

nah, The Shield was definitely great, but it's not seeing Breaking Bad. BB is a much tighter show, at times I felt the shield was trying things for shock value for the sake of it.

it's a really odd comparison because of the pace.
breaking bad has a completely different feel.
vic mackey and his bully like antics are not walter white like in any way.
you feel empathy for walter white, vic was the short kid in school who huffs and puffs all about.
i got the complete shield series on dvd, it was the best find i ever found

You seen "The Wire" and "The Sopranos"? I don't understand how anyone can put "The Shield" anywhere near "Breaking Bad", or those two shows.

People said the same shyt about "Sopranos" as someone already pointed out, and season 2 and/or 3 of "The Wire".

I honestly don't think one is that much better than the other. And that's not a slight toward Breaking Bad because that's one of my favorite shows on TV. I just think the Shield is that underrated.
