This thread actually gave me reason to rewatch the series (I'm in the middle of Season 4 right now and I've only been watching since probably Thursday ) Yeah, this shyt is better than Breaking Bad.

Breaking Bad had a deeper, more intricate storyline, but The Shield was more interesting, fast paced, and entertaining. It's more entertaining than The Wire even though I have The Wire as my GOAT.

I liked the dynamic of Vic/Shane more than Walt/Jessie as well.

Don't get me wrong though; I LOVE Breaking Bad. As far as these types of dramas goes, I've got it right now...

1 - The Wire
2 - The Shield
3 - Breaking Bad
4 - Oz
5 - The Sopranos
6 - Mad Men (not a crime drama but it always gets thrown into the category)

Edit: That Antwan Mitchell interrogation might have been some of the best acting and most incredible scene I've ever seen

but BB has better acting and better writing. and Im not even halfway through season 4, so I didnt even get to all the stuff thats finna happen.

I'll say this....no show is touching The Shield's ending which puts it at the top of my list (yes even better than the Wire IMO and yes I'm black). The series finale of Breaking Bad better blow me away.
