I don't think so..
This team has the memory of "3-1" on their minds and to be this close to the finals, nothing will get in their way. I love Kerr but let's not act like those adjustments in Game 7 weren't atrocious and cost them the championship(amongst that dumb ass turnover by Steph and King Kyrie hitting that shot)..
As much as I hate Stephen A...
The only team beating the Warriors is themselves..

Hmm...I think that the Warriors do have a lot more pressure on them this time around than the Cavs. Not only they're a "super team" expected to win it all, they're also the only team to ever blow a 3-1 lead in the finals. There is no denying that they're dealing with a lot of weight regardless of their talent. I think the Cavs will be more loose as they have the arsenal to match up well with GS. It's also hard to bet against LeBron and Kyrie when they're playing at their best.

Anticipate some defensive scheme changes. Simmons and Patty (our smaller guards) have been better on the PnR ball handler than Kawhi and Danny. KAwhi and Danny get picked because they are more stationary whereas Simmons and Patty are constantly moving and more difficult to screen. This is why our defense looked so solid last night. I anticipate putting them on Steph and Klay more frequently than earlier in the year.

I agree with you on the pressure(KD especially)but Lebron has just as much pressure because if he does beat this Warrior team, everybody will crown him goat and that crybaby ass nikka what's that admiration the most..
Even though he says he has nothing else to prove, just four months ago he asked for more help and threw his team under the bus and fought with TT..
It really boils down to who wants it more..
The Spurs are going to be a challenge though..
This will not be a sweep, everybody is pulling the carriage before the horse..
I just want the Warriors to play with efficiency and actually keep their foots on necks when they have leads..

I think with LeBron now, he's playing more "free" than he's ever played. As if a big weight has been lifted off his shoulders. On top of that, he's in his best shape possible which is why you see him just doing things so effortlessly now. I feel he's now with great confidence in himself and his teammates as they're finally healthy and gelling at the right time. Man...I'm jumping the gun here but the finals between GSW and Cavs this time around will be the most epic one if it happens.

That being said, like you mentioned, Spurs are definitely not a pushover to this GSW team. Now is the time for GSW to be fully engaged or otherwise, the Spurs can take the series.

Simmons needs to get as many minutes as possible. He should be starting right now honestly

LMA needs to realize nobody can guard him in this series.

SA needs to try and make Draymond beat them. Load up on Steph, KD, and Klay and let Draymond shoot all he wants

Patty it's on you to get yourself paid this off-season. If he has a huge series he's in line for a nice payday

spurs gona start 10 players vs 5? :mjlol:

Majority thinks that the Warriors will take this one pretty easy. I beg to differ (with my silver and black glasses on). Curry, Klay, and KD are going to get theirs. But this is the series where I think the offseason moves of not having any effective bigs and less depth on the bench, is going to come back and haunt the Warriors. The Spurs will go big with LMA/Pau/Lee. Which means that Zaza or McGee will have to play outside the paint and guard LMA in the midrange and Pau beyond the arc. Not to mention that in the past Harrison Barnes and random ass Barbosa would always be the ones to come up big vs the Spurs, who no longer are on the bench for the W's.

2 great defensive teams going at it. Hopefully we get a good semi finals series with close scores.

Spurs in 6. GoSpursGo
