Yea but without kawhi they are a different animal...you do need ALL of your assets to beat the warriors....remember Cleveland 2015. Warriors were already trying to push back when kawhi got hurt and spurs offense was becoming more and more reliant on him throughout....

If one key component goes down against GS it gonna be problems....but same wit the spurs and cavs...theyre elite teams.(Kawhi is their most key component)

Only thing is you don't want to risk it with the type of player that Kawhi is. Popovich is seeing the long game here. Having Kawhi out there for extra minutes could've have made things worse.
