i'm saying if the gov or law enforcement has a particular interest in someone. the xbox kinect will be one of the methods used to surveillance them if they have xb1 in their home. you can shrug it off as tinfoil theories but it's going to happen within this console cycle. now even if you disagree with that, are you also saying M$ wont use kinect to better advertise products specifically to you?

So then they need an informant who can get the info. Probably somebody who got hemmed up already and they looking for an out
So at this point, they already have you name, phone numbers/etc.
Then they'll have said friend do a controlled buy and the rest is History.
Now if they couldn't go that route of the controlled Buy, they could take up surveillance. Could Kinect Aid in that? Yes and No, mostly No and here's why.

Kinect would literally be the last place to look. And if you on the run like that, only your house would matter. Unless you a serial killer then they might be like "lets check his whole friends list" and they'd be looking a serial killer. If they seen you smoking a blunt, you'd never know about it. As an American citezen i like the fact that the government can monitor these systems in an effort to keep citizens safe. It's the tin foil hat people such as yourself that think the goverment is gonna spend all this money and resources just to harass normal everyday citizens. That's not what NSA or the patriot act is about. There are plenty of bad people on American soil and I'm not gonna stand in the way of the goverment pursuing them.
