I've stated in this thread numerous times that Russia hasn't used any of their most advanced weaponry. However, I don't believe based on what has happened thus far that Russia could effectively carpet bomb Keiv from the skies. Just an opinion - not worth debating further - as I agree with your sentiment around the weaponry at Russia's disposal (although I disagree they have the most advance jets in the world)

Nor would that be intelligent, best bet is for them to continue doing what they are doing. Although - they know they are attacking civilian installations, which will create more condemnation from the UN and NATO.
