If Biden is the same as his predecessors then we'll be going to war. If he backs down then it'll be sending a message. Take that for what you will.

Can we afford to go to war? Do you really think the American people will be cool with ANOTHER foreign engagement? NATO's entire purpose was to contain the soviets, aint no soviets anymore and Russia is trying to let its nuts hang. The rest of the countries in NATO can handle it and the UN peacekeeping force can help. The maximum level of involvement for America should be sending some of the surplus hardware here over to them. No troops should be setting foot on that soil.

You could say the same thing about the Kurds in Northern Syrian and Iraq territory, mainly because they're not see as an official country, but we share strong ties with them to the point of military and financial backing. However, when Turkey invaded in late 2018 we pulled out because staying to help fight would mean WWIII for sure considering Turkey's disposition as an "ally".

And if we don't help Ukraine they will definitely feel some type of way about us.

Anybody trying to fight it is going to die. When judgement happens, you either take it or die. Sometimes you're going to die no matter what.
