i wouldnt even feel safe moving back to

What I find strange about this war is how close Ukraine and Russia are. Their history goes back thousands of years. They’re literally the same race and ethnicity as well as brothers. They’ve suffered and been through a lot of horrific things together in the past from mongol oppression, czar autocracy, WW1, USSR, Stalinism, WW2, Holocaust, Cold War. There should be more that unites them than separates them. Ukraine should see the Russians as the big protective brother who’ll always be there for them and vice versa for Russia. This horrific war is just meaningless and makes no sense to me.
Russia is the opposite of a protective big brother.
Russia under Putin is the sick uncle who molests his nieces and nephews.

The United States is going to need to find a miracle to create a defense or deterrent against nuclear weapons.
Or that regime change gonna need to come right on time.

If the sanctions are doing anything, they are turning Putin against some of his rich comrades and making him paranoid for him to admit this publicly. This nikka finna be Tony Montana status in a minute. Not able to trust anybody.
