:lolbron:dude was even getting Coli bravery medals:dead:

Last two days the pro-Russian account were suspiciously silent, and allowing pro-Ukraine accounts tell the narrative. Today they collected all the receipts and dropping mad stuff...a lot of people are disappointed :whoa:

:mjlol::mjlol:

Applicable to most of the crap on social media.

They posted video game simulation as some “ghost” shooting down jets in fire fight.

They have been claiming that they shot down 2 Ilyushin planes that are massive 4-engine planes since yesterday. And not even 1 pic of debris was provided. :mjlol:

It’s misinformation and propaganda everywhere.

Some of us have been in combat before and like to add some context to some of the updates and imagery. I don’t see what the 1/5 stuff has to do with anything though.

It's completely pointless, he's literally just regurgitating a Putin talking point (like a surprising # of people in this thread).

I mean back in the early 1900s about 1/5th of the US population was German, does that mean we should have let the Germans invade and take the upper Midwest?

US: oil consumption 2020 | Statista

I am all for harnessing different types of energy but why cut ourself off until those different types are actually viable ?

Again, production is at historic highs and we produce nearly 20% of the world's oil, we haven't "cut ourselves off" from jack shyt.

From a technological perspective it would have been viable to switch to other energy sources decades ago, but the oil industry and others who profit off of it have done everything possible to forestall a switch.

I already pointed out to you why absolutely nothing we do in terms of approving production is going to have a meaningful affect on global oil prices so long as our consumption remains so high, and thus our production isn't going to do jack shyt to effect Russia's oil revenues. American oil companies are only going to pump at the level that guarantees continued profits, and thus Russia will also reap those profits. So what exactly is your objective in this debate?

My reaction to the developments has pretty much been

I don't approve of what Russia is doing but at the same time I don't give a fukk. Has Ukraine been a vocal advocate for reparations? No, so they should hold their own nuts.

Surprises me that they can look at Afghanistans clinging to the edge of planes, whilst dogs sat it first class, and think the rest of the world would have their back when push came to shove.

Afghanistan got $300 mlllion A DAY for 20 years and rolled up like mats in 24 hours. Ukraine got $300 million lump sum and they've got people toasting light armor with molotov cocktails and scavenging ammo from tanks they blew up.

:sas1:

I'm not celebrating the fear Afghans felt when they saw us withdrawing, but Ukraine showed up when people were offering them HELMETS instead of rifles.
