nikka stfu lol @ using radar underwater. Using active sonar will get you counterdetected. Getting an accurate solution with passive sonar on a Russian submarines is a bytch and a half. Trust me I know. They're are extremely quiet.

I don't think, I fukking know exactly and everything about our submarines capability.

US is responsible too with shyt leaders. But countries like germany are literally doing nothing. They imagine they can spend only 1% on military, kiss putin's ass and expect America to save the day in case something happens.

The Europe mainland countries in the west have been notorious for not doing a single thing to stop putin from getting richer. If something happens in china, the europe will become a hell hole unless every euro country starts taking things seriously.
The US was pushing for harder sanctions than many European countries until yesterday, when Italy and others finally came around on SWIFT. We’re about to fully sanction Russia’s central bank, and completely crash their economy.

People complaining about sanctions are caught up in the moment. Russia will take Ukraine, eventually. Sanctions prepare for what’s next: ensuring they cannot hold it, and dooming whatever puppet government they attempt to install. This is going to be a long, protracted struggle with the US and allies pumping BILLIONS of military aid into the county to support Ukrainians fighting to retake their country.

Putin is being backed into a corner.

This might be a short term strategy but with long term consequences. Putin has inched closer to China and vice versa but both run the risk of being strapped to any outcome. China's stance on sovereignty looks like a pile of bullshyt considering it's ally bogarding through Ukraine's borders and intent on establishing a puppet government. Sanctions won't hurt Russia immediately but will isolate Putin's entourage of cronies on the international finance markets and that will lead to inevitable infighting amongst his inner circle. I didn't understand his moves coming into this war because he really has no long term wins here, just more unfavorable public scrutiny on a global scale and sanctions up the ass.

You realize they're literally fighting for survival right? :what:
Imagine telling someone whose home is getting invaded to stand down and hope sanctions will make your invaders rethink :mjtf:
Fighting for survival against a foe that NOBODY believes they can beat. You understand that right? When the dude in charge of your defense suggests Molotov cocktails to fight dudes with tanks and missles, it’s time to rethink your strategy. Retreat. Evacuate. Let the thug take what he wants right now because what everyone also knows is he is not going to be able to maintain it for a lengthy period of time. But for the short term he’s gonna get it, and if he has to slaughter you then so be it. Maybe you think fighting tanks with homemade molotovs is a winning strategy to survive. I disagree.

Kiev with 3 million would be the largest city ever sieged / conquered in history, correct? I guess the closest comparison is Paris and Berlin in ww2

crazy in college i learned about the sack of Kyiv in 1240 by the Mongols...now here I am in 2022 watching this city get sacked again.

I like keeping the record straight:

"Targeting the Russian energy industry is totally off the table? Is that what you are saying?"

"What I'm saying is that our measures were not designed to disrupt, in any way, the current flow of energy from Russia to the world."
