Why would the Russians amass so much force on the border to not flex on Ukraine for stepping out of line . All Russia wanted was an assurance that NATO would not put weapons in Ukraine & all would of been good but they decided to play chicken with the Kremlin & they knew they couldn't Trust the Pentagon on anything they say .

At this point we have to at least give credible thought to the idea not all those troops are battle ready but just to bolster numbers.

I mean why would he even need to ask Kazakhstan for troops? He’s not trying to hold the country.
