Finland is in NATO?
The Ukrainians can’t be neutral because Putin wants to enrich him and his friends.
Even if Ukraine just wanted to focus on jobs and healthcare, you have to have some kind of trade with the west. Putin only wants Pro-Russian leadership which leads to the kind of corruption seen in Russian.
A major part of why this Zelensky dude got elected was the people saw their NATO affiliated neighbors doing better and wanted some of that. What was Russia offering…Putin.
The fins are not in NATO, but part in the EU. Ukraine was already doing trade with the west, they are one of the biggest food exporters. Their problem was corruption. But does Russia really have a problem with a country doing free trade on its border? Latvia, Estonia etc are already part of Union and don't think they made that much noise about it
