Russia ain't looking to dominate Europe much less the world. they just looking to get the US and NATO off their backs. NATO really violated and worst of all did the Ukrainians dirty and got them caught up. Ukraine should have taken a neutral stance like the Fins.
NATO's main mandate is anti Russian, and it have been expanding towards Russia since the collapse of the USSR and even holding military exercises in bordering countries. Most nations would take that as a provocation including the united states.

It's like if china and a few other nations formed a pact to halt the expansion of the united states then wanted Mexico to join and start giving them weapons or holding military exercises in the Caribbean. The US would not let that fly.

The Ukrainians can’t be neutral because Putin wants to enrich him and his friends.

Even if Ukraine just wanted to focus on jobs and healthcare, you have to have some kind of trade with the west. Putin only wants Pro-Russian leadership which leads to the kind of corruption seen in Russian.

A major part of why this Zelensky dude got elected was the people saw their NATO affiliated neighbors doing better and wanted some of that. What was Russia offering…Putin.

Americans want to kill so bad we've been killin each other in mass shooting and on the streets for the last decade, putting those guys in the army is like putting a shark in a fish tank full seals. Anybody can collect guns just like how anyone can collect sneakers. You just need the funds. The act of collecting firearm doesn't make you 'tough' or masculine. Perpetuating a mass shooting in a densely populated area full of innocent civilians is an act of cowardice. I don't believe people truly understand the magnitude of what Russia is doing..I get it..Majority of us have to joke to ease the seriousness of the situation or because we have nothing else to do or can do. I'm going to laugh as well. But behind that laugh, subconsciously I know.

I worked Command and Control in the Air force for almost 8 years. All of our MAJOR exercises usually involved Russia or China because the DOD knew what their capabilities were/are. You believe Russia will stop at Ukraine? Or that China isn't paying close attention? This isn't Iraq. This isn't Afghanistan. This isn't Vietnam(I'm not downplaying these wars here). This can lead to a homefront attack on America soil. Russia regularly flies flies along the international skies for a reason even though it damn near violates treaties. They want it all, and aren't afraid of the consequences. This shyt is deep brehs. Pray for those you know who are overseas in international bases in Europe in the coming years.

When you suggest Russia won't stop at Ukraine, what do you think they will attempt to do?

They don't have the capabilities to occupy Ukraine or annex it. At most they will annex small portions of it and set up a puppet regime. You think they are going to try to keep heading West beyond Ukraine? You think they have the capabilities to do that? You think the Western powers will just shrug and allow that to happen?

Ukraine wanted to join NATO those talks been stalled the Ukraine president even said if it will prevent a war then we won't join. I'm 100% convinced some of y'all being paid lol.

Understood but there are government agencies that focus on protecting vital infrastructure from cyberattacks.

But just like in your Hurricane Katrina example: we have agencies to deal with it but not if it’s something we didn’t really plan for like dams breaking.

We also had a pandemic outbreak plan that was tossed aside and CDC that was ineffective.
