Can't remember who suggested it or where they did in the forum, so I'll post about it here; I've finished Angela Saini's book on race science.
It's great. An entertaining structure that highlights efficiently the historical, intellectual and political continuity of race science throughout the last two centuries and juxtapose its tradition to its current manifestations. Also filled to the brim with direct contemporary expert accounts. And I think that it manages to remain
fair to opposite perspectives without shying away from analyzing them, which is precious.
Now I kinda want to read her book on sexism in science
