Black men do make more than black women but black women are more educated and a lil more respected. I hate talking about low vibrational shyt like this but I do want us black men to improve statistically....that's where we don't look the best.

Black men make more money, have higher wealth, and larger savings than Black women.

Also, Black men go into trades and apprenticeships that leave them without the debt our sisters end up with from going to college, but also garners them the same and even better pay. We have sisters out here coming out of undergrade with over 90k+ debt, becoming teachers starting at 50k+ a year. We have brothers going into trades with no debt, making 70k+ a year.

We have to look at things with a more critical eye, before we come with this idea that Black men are doing so poorly. Just because Black men are not running into colleges at the same rate as Black women, does not mean Black men are doing statistically poorer than Black women.

I've noticed that most Lightskinned brothers I know preferred Darkskinned women. The lighter the brother, the darker the women they seemed to go after. Example, the last two weddings I went to, my little sister's and cousin's, the brides are Darkskinned and the grooms are Lightskinned. Across the street from me, the brother, who is light, is married to a sister who is dark. My maternal grandfather is light with green eyes, my maternal grandmother is dark with black pearls for eyes. So on and so forth.

The above is all only anacdotel evidence, though your assertion has no real evidence backing it either. Out here in the world, I see Black people of all skintones with each other, marrying each other, and having children with each other. Just like you see some Blackmen out here lusting after non-Black women, you can easily see the same with some Blackwomen too.

So no, it is not common knowledge that most Black men prefer LS women. Just because the grifter Umar Johnson says that and the entertainer class has made that their preference, does not mean that is the case for most Black men.

As ppl mature things definitely start leveling out, but marriage doesn’t mean you are necessarily uniting with your physical preference; it means you are choosing someone to build a life with. One doesn’t have to be the prettiest, lightest, or tallest to be chosen for marriage.

But yea, as we get older some men aren’t as vocal or stringent about it, but if you sit with young ppl, many young ladies in HS/undergrad with a darker complexion will tell you about the wild things that have been said to them regarding complexion.

There are guys I know who made it a point to “taste the rainbow” but married a Black woman at the end, which is what ultimately counts when it comes to building a life and creating kids, but one wouldn’t necessarily feel preferred if most of the women (or men) who came before them looked nothing like them.



However, I will concede, I can’t state with full certainty that every breh prefers LS.

I didn't even consider the fact the majority of white men voted Trump, black women really act like dating white women is so problematic given historical context then turn around and CELEBRATE every black woman that unions with a rich power WHITE MAN. They'll bring up Emmett Till and Tulsa to shame black men, but completely ignore the white men that actually carried out the actions. What about the white men throwing stuff at Ruby Bridges? What about the white men that raped our ancestors over & over again? They purposely ignore that to make it easier to justify their swirling.

Now, I fully admit that this article is doing…a lot and it definitely feels like there is a PUSH to encourage us to date out.

#1 That is because MOST OF US do NOT want to be with other races, so ppl are literally shouting in our faces and telling us to do it.

#2 However, it’s not about there being “enough” white men for every Black woman. There aren’t “enough” white women for every breh in America. They are making the point that if even a small percentage of Black women were open to interracial dating/marriage, they could pair up with the small percentage of White/other men who are open to it as well. There are way more white men and women in this nation than us.

Most people want to be with their own race, but the same way maybe 12-15% of brehs are in interracial marriages? If 12-15% of brehettes were open to it that would mean there would be more married Black women. That’s all. And the truth is more Black women need to be open to it to balance things out.

Most of us aren’t, but if the same percentage of BW and BM interracially married we’d see less of these damn articles.




But again, yes, that was…a lot.

There's more white women than black people in US, so that's probably why alot of them date guys out of their race if they can due to the numbers.

All the more reason blk people should try to increase their numbers, so they dont end up like Brazil.
