I'd wager the majority of "privileged" children don't have millionaire parents. The majority of children that attend private schools don't have millionaire parents. I don't know grandfather Romney's net worth but I'm sure it was at or above a hundred thousand. He was indeed upper class to rich. Obama's grandparents weren't as well off but Obama was at least upper middle class on a relative scale, based on the fact he went to the best and probably among the most expensive private schools in Hawaii.

I don't know grandfather Romney's net worth but I'm sure it was at or above a hundred thousand. He was indeed upper class to rich. I'm arguing whether Obama was privileged growing up, not whether he came from a millionaire family. Like I said, most privileged private school children don't have millionaire parents. They're still privileged and upper middle class. Private school isn't free and apparently his grandma paid Obama's way to attend Haiwaii's best private school so he didn't grow up poor. That's the end of it. Obama grew up upper middle class and Romney grew up rich. The qualitative difference between these two classes in terms of raw privilege isn't as much as you think.

If you want to criticize Romney's upbringing, go ahead but don't misrepresent Obama's own.
