The Rock somewhat reached Hogan's heights back when he was the top dog, even had Hogan in a match which pretty much solidified his pinnacle as the most popular wrestler. It's a toss up with Stone Cold, Hogan & Rock. You can also add Sting, Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart & Ultimate Warrior in that list.

nikka what :mjlol: you gonna include triple h in this too? :heh:

anyway, wrestling wise, hulk was more popular than rock, but pop culture wise, the rock is an a list star and hogan was just a novelty act in the mainstream, only relevant in the 80s. There’s no comparison.

Did Hulk Hogan ever make $5-$10mm / film, even on an inflation adjusted basis? :usure:

did hulk Hogan ever speak at the dnc or rnc?:usure:

Did the National Review ever float Hulk Hogan’s name as a serious potential presidential candidate?:usure:

Using that reasoning would you say the same for Jesse Ventura? For the record I agree with you on Rock/Hogan debate.

The Rock did what Hogan couldn't...which is being a decent actor in a movie. You'd think these wrestlers knew how to act cause well that's their job...but turns out most of the wrestlers would do a shyt job in movies. Even Steve Austin was god damn terrible in those low budget movies he did :scust:

And then "kevin federline of professional wrestling" triple H with the WOAT performance in Blade 3 :hhh:

Hogan was never gonna be the movie star that the rock became.

I mean just look at how goofy hogan look on screen in a non wrestling capacity.:mjlol:

The rock was young & had the move star looks.

He was already top 3 when he left. He's definitely #1 on the list right now.

Rock is not touching that phenomenon called Hulkamania

facts hulkamania was something special it went with a whole era of the 80's, I just found this young kid talking this same bs on youtube the thread maker had to make this video smh
