A letter for
@TheRock

There are lots of celebrities who have the wealth and massive platforms to drive change, but few who actually are willing to do the hard work to help those less fortunate, or make the planet a better place. You’re one of them.

The work you’ve done for veterans is notable. You stepped up for Maui fire victims when no one else in DC did.

I’ve always thought you had what it takes to go from “celebrity” to a real political future. You have the intellect and big heart Democrats value. You have the charisma and perceived “strength” that Republicans think they see in a “tough talking” reality TV show guy.

But a true leader, especially in politics, must have character. They do what’s right for the country, even if it’s bad for their own career or personal brand. They do so with integrity, courage and often in the face of adversity and threats. They are patriots. They understand what’s at stake and how close we are to losing everything that America stands, or once stood for. The unraveling has already begun.

Today you have shown us you do not have the character for politics. You chose your personal brand over democracy. You’ll have to sit with that if we lose everything because millions of uninformed voters who admire you think you just endorsed the reality TV show guy who already tried to destroy democracy once.

Hope you’ll rethink this.

The average American spends about 4 minutes a week thinking about politics. Total. The average uninformed American voter doesn’t know shyt about shyt. If you think a massive celebrity like the Rock on Fox News doesn’t have impact, you are not paying attention to American culture.

Hi skippy, try again. idgaf if he endorses Biden. That’s not what this is about.

Bullying? Yeah, I’m “bullying” the Rock, Cheryl.

I’m not sure who you’re talking to or you agree with. Im a Gen X Nine Inch Nails fan not a swiftie. And my point is not that he needs to endorse Biden, it’s the impact he will have by saying he’s not endorsing Biden. He could have stayed silent.

The rock showed that, as a rich person, he’s down with the goddamn traitor that cut his taxes almost 100%. And anti-democracy and pro-fascism. So therefore, he is cordially invited to go fukk himself.

I mean its a summarization of him saying he regrets the decision. Just because he didn't explicitly say the word "regret" doesn't take away from the fact dude said he regrets the endorsement lol
He wasn’t even on Fox News breh. I wonder if you would have made this thread for Austin? Better hope the news keeps quiet about him beating his wives and not just Debra

Woke = lgbtq, non whites acting in white roles, abortion, women in leadership positions

None of these really concern black people

Lolll

They don't really have that much of a problem with non whites playing white roles so long as they aren't black. They had no problem with Jason Momoa playing aqua man.

Also, don't the anti woke people take issue with black people being in leadership positions? Like with the DEI mayor last week? Who they blamed the ship crash on?

Hell, they've shown displeasure in black people being pilots and doctors as well. There was a whole stink about it earlier this year. Teaching black history in public schools is woke apparently too. Just like taking down statues of racist white people and kneeling for the national anthem.

Are you sure these things don't concern black people?

From where I stand it seems like anything that is seen as a transgression against the white status quo is what gets labeled woke.

Pretty much. A bunch of cacs made this redhead replacement picture with black actors portraying redhead characters. I asked why drax wasn't on there when he was portrayed by baustista and the woman who played else bloodstone in werewolf by night wasn't a redheaded actress either. Crickets. They don't care that the rest of the spider man cast looks like a benetton ad, but mj being black(and she's not even Mary Jane which is even funnier) gets the computers puting
