When it was just Cody, Rock, and Roman in the ring he teared up and walked to the back. When he had a stage full of people surrounding him he bowed up, when he knew Rock wasn't going to be on RAW or in Australia he acted all big and bad, but now that Rock is going to be on SD he sends a weak caption. Gotta break out the classic for p*ssy ass Cody

And that’s probably the reason why they can’t/won’t. Ryder got over on his own, without the company or company blessing, and how did Vince respond? He systematically buried breh beneath the ring in that Cena angle and took over his socials to ensure that shyt never happened again.

While Trips isn’t as cold blooded as Vince, he still would probably prefer talent he’s not tryna heat up YET go that route.

Doubt he would hold down anyone that gets over he can make money with. Prime examples being LA Knight and Jey Uso

The timeline is so true too…

When Rock came to San Diego and mentioned that “head of the table” line, it was huge.

Rock is arguably the biggest star in wrestling history (Hogan, Andre, SCSA, Cena, Rock, Flair, etc) and he’s literal family members with the guy running the longest and most engaging storyline in wrestling currently.

And it’s WM 40 (round number etc)

Shyt writes itself.

The Netflix tie in was a big slice of humble pie to Seth Rollins. Saying you don’t need The Rock and being serious about it is foolish :mjlol:

Great promo - kept me in for the whole 20 minutes too. Maybe it's just an Attitude Era loyalty but ain't no way I'm cheering for Seth or Cody over The Rock in this sort of form. I had my doubts, but he still Brings It.

But just for a minute IMAGINE the carnage in the IWC if a mainly-retired legend bought their way into the AEW boardroom and cut a 20 minute promo destroying the two biggest babyfaces they've built over the last 4 years because he wants a Heel Vs Heel main event at their biggest PPV. :pachaha:
