OKC owns us smh

Dwight got shut down by Stephen fukking Adams. Asik missed about 3 dunks. McHale looks like starting to fall in love with Parsons at the 4 for some dumbass reason.

Wish he'd play Jones and Dmo more to see what we have against these top teams for the playoffs. Parsons plays too many minutes as it is and it's getting old watching him get out-muscled for rebounds against stronger guys. Let Terrence battle with those dudes and give him some rest. With Dmo we don't post him up nearly enough. We have him floating around and wonder why an inconsistent shooter is giving inconsistent performances on offense. Nights like tonight when Dwight struggles because he can't easily overpower his defender are even more of a reason to do so.

Lin with another off night:aicmon: Tired of him picking up his dribble in the paint and shooting almost 3s with his foot on the line. I need him to think like a Harvard man on the court.

Bev went back to the old Bev tonight and picked up some unnecessary fouls. Would be nice if Canaan had gotten some minutes and experience in the past for games like this.:beli:

Good to see Cisco get some minutes and ball:salute:

James was James.:yeshrug: I don't even get all that excited when he does shyt anymore. I just kinda laugh at the nikkas that guard him. I probably only do that for a handful of players or so.

If we end up getting swept by okc and the clips for the season though:scusthov:

thought houston was kinda gassed.. and i actually felt that was the case against portland (coming off indiana and miami, and then the trap game vs orlando), which is what made that comeback that much more impressive.. so on one hand i aint too mad over this. on the other hand, i felt this one couldve had big implications for the rest of the season; namely, would houston be battling it out with okc for the 2nd/3rd seed... or the clippers for the 3rd/4th seed.

I say that bc i really don't expect okc to continue to fumble against teams like the lakers down the stretch of the season so giving okc 18 losses to houston's 19 at the time would've been huge, especially with one more meeting right? But now that it's 17 losses to 20 for the rockets (tied with the clippers), i dont expect okc to lose that cushion now that we are near the stretch run. But really, home court or not, okc in the 2nd round is going to be a bytch regardless.

so with that in mind, if there is one more game, dwight's gotta show better than that. the game would've been much closer if they could've got something more respectable outta him than 9 pts, 1-6 freethrows and all them stupid fouls... mental fatigue or not, still gotta bring it like harden did, esp when the matchup should be in ur favor.

They actually played hard this game. But Mchale's inability to construct a decent half court offensive set in crunch time, in addition to the blatant rigging by the refs really hampered our ability to win. I still think we're in desperate need of a point gaurd. Someone who can run the offense. Why they haven't gone after Rondo is beyond me at this point.

Nice wins this week to bounce back from those losses. Good to get Dwight some rest. Not sure how serious his injury is but from the outside looking in it seems like a nice excuse to give the franchise big some much needed time to heal and get some r&r. I want him feeling good physically come playoff time.

It also appears to be good for the team. Asik is getting his legs back and probably getting some confidence back as well. Dmo has been playing well with his increased minutes also. One day soon Asik won't be on the team and Dmo just might be the guy to replace him. He won't be the defensive anchor in the paint that Omer is but his defense has improved (and hopefully continues to improve) to the point where I trust him with those minutes. These games should be good for his confidence as well. Lastly, Casspi has had a chance to get some minutes with Dwight out and he's played like a man desperate for playing time as well. He won't get much time in the postseason but it's nice to know what type of energy and attitude he'll play with if he does get in some games. I've been one to criticize McHale's rotations but one benefit definitely seems to be that certain guys play with extra hunger when they do get minutes after not playing for a while. That includes Dmo earlier in the year, Garcia since the last okc game, and now Casspi.

Last night probably shut me up for the rest of the season with regards to wanting to see Canaan get more meaningful time. He's not ready yet. Nights like last night will be good for him in the long run. Side note, I forgot which game it was this week (maybe Utah?) but Canaan came in at the end and on one play drove the baseline and went up to yam on somebody. Didn't work but the shyt was hilarious that he actually tried it. You could see Harden and Parsons on the bench rollin. That was the best Rockets moment of the week for me:mjlol:

Rockets cutting thru these weak ass teams like a hot knife thru butter. Big showdown tomorrow...

went to the game last night

had to give Moses Malone the :salute: when he parked his truck right in front of the stadium on his way to the game

Phillys roster is terrible....the coach was crackin me up the whole night

my goodness our second unit is even worse to look at in person :scusthov:

Violet Palmer (the female ref) gotta be the worst ref in the entire NBA.....she was missing all kinds of calls from both sides RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER
