ehh.. if there was EVER a remote chance of getting rondo for asik (very doubtful imo).. you do it without hestiation :yeshrug:

all that "likeability" and "don't be a bully, be a star" stuff is all well and good... like its cute, but give me 3 top 15 players in their PRIMES instead (whom each play a different position) and i'll figure out all the other bullshyt later. Its one thing if they're old and washed up like last years lakers or this years Nets but when all 3 are under 30? Shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit. They'll be aight. And if not, fukk it, you can just pick between whichever 1 of the 3 to trade next year for some high value return

Not to mention Chris Paul is a bully, Westbrook, Kyrie (apparently), Deron Williams.. bullies. Prime versions of Shaq, KG, Kobe, Hakeem (Kenny always lets it be known that the Dream would hit u with the quick  if he didn't get the ball), etc. --> Bullies. MJ --> bully.

So hey, if the rockets decide from now on to play properly rotating perimeter defense and move the ball on offense.. then ok, i'm down with keeping whatever happy go lucky locker room experience they may currently have there... but if they continue with this up and down inconsistent play and undisciplined crap for the weeks to come.. well, i'd actually welcome a Rondo comin thru the door with the :usure:face at whoever needs it

Insignificant posting from an insignificant poster
I think you're confusing being a bully with being a stubborn bone head.

Allen Iverson, Carmelo Anthony, Steve Francis = stubborn bone heads, hard to work/play with and pretty damn selfish.

Jordan, Kobe, Payton = a$$holes to the umph degree but are stern leaders with winning attitudes/pedigree and lead teams and yet earn the entire teams respect.

I've been watching this shiit since Derrick Coleman was in the lottery and i've seen 'em all come and go.

There's a certain distinctive quality that separates the men from the mice... the pits from the poodles...

The captains ---- from the crunch.

In a league of grown men, an immature, pouty attitude doesn't garner you success.

^^ i hear ya but i wouldnt categorize rondo in the same lane as a steve francis/allen iverson tho. Rondo may be a prick, but he's a pass-first defensive minded prick who became the best player and floor general of the Celtics from '09 through '13. He wasn't shyt during their championship yr but every year after that, including their 2010 finals run, his own teammates/coach would say he was the most valuable player with how he ran the ball club and got them quality shots and possessions.

Comparatively, someone like Chris Paul who has this great guy/great leader perception has gotten coaches fired and had rumors about guys like Blake Griffin hatin his ass b/c of the constant nagging/badgering. Both Kobe and Shaq were the epitome of grown men acting immature and pouty but still winning championships.

So while Rondo is certainly capable of hurting some feelings in that locker room, I'm not sold that it'd be a bad thing.. especially if they don't start showing some consistency and accountability with how they play. More so, Rondo's way of controlling the pace and maximizing shots would be worth the trouble and more than worth the experiment (imo).. since he's not a chucker nor a lazy/bad defender like AI/Francis were at times

Did you guys really watch Terrance Jones last night? This dude really looked phenomenal in scoring his career high 24 points. Hell, if this guy keeps improving, we can seriously consider forgoing the powerforward search and instead really go for an allstar PG like Rondo. Check out this highlight mixtape i found to show you some of his moves. Hopefully someone will create a highlight reel for him based off of his performance last night..

Some are listed here also..

P.S. Do ya'll notice whenever the rockets have a dominating performance, the rockets hate threads pop up? :russ:
