if you guys traded Omar Asik for Ryan Anderson both teams would be improved.

you guys would a true pf that can spread the floor and knock jumpers opening the paint for howard and all your slasher plus giving an additional knock down shooter for them to kick it out to,

and the pelicans would have a true center who can protect the paint and keep davis from having to battle dude 50lbs heavier then him. with davis scoring 21 ppg and jrue and eric Gordon and they need is a stronger defense to make them an elite team. having asik and davis protecting the paint would make them much improved at that.

isn't Ryan Anderson out for a couple of months?

he's the only power forward I know of who can shoot but isn't an all star who command a large salary compared to asik.

think about all the power forwards who can shoot. Most of them were or are allstars.
Gasol, Dirk, Bosh, Garnett, etc.
The only other power forward who can shoot but isn't a max type player I can think of is Barg

you could go with a low post scorer but they wouldn't mesh well with Howard clogging the paint.

Thats my dream scenario man lol. Maybe im underating ryan anderson but with casspi and how hes played at times as a stretch 4.. im not really as enthused about ryan. I think 3 point shooting is covered, maybe almost to a fault as they jack up a lot. Id like to see em explore getting a different type of impact player... easier said than done tho

surrounding howard with shooters has worked in the past. and honestly I feel like he wouldn't mesh well with a low post scorer because people would play off him. and the paint would be too clogged up for harden and lin to take advantage of their abilities in penetrating.

Portland isn't interested in any of our pieces. I would take back Patterson at this point. We should give Jones a try.
