To put things in perspective, Microsoft is offering the ENTIRE library of xbox games for ALL generations backwards compatible with next gen enhancements.
Sony is offer 100 games only for ps4.
Microsoft is committed to all cross gen games being patched to the next gen version for free when you buy a series x, sony has said nothing of the sort and by the way that presentation went, expect next gen remasters for ps5 for full price (something is offering for free)
Microsoft is undeniably trying to be the more consumer friendly of the two companies, sony looks greedy as fukk right now.
And again, EXPECT these consoles to launch at the same price. They spent the same amount manufacturing the consoles and Microsoft is in a much better position to take a loss per console sold. Yall need to let that dream go.

For those saying that the peak processing power difference isn’t much, think about this:
The original systems were less than 2 flops. The difference between the OG One and 4 was minuscule in comparison. While these new consoles are over double even the mid gen refreshes, a 2 teraflop difference in processing power will likely be pretty noticeable at some point.

To most people the difference wont be noticable if they aren't looking at them side by side. If theres a big difference between load times and other things they talk about, then that would impress the average person more than a slightly higher screen resolution. But that's only if theres a noticeable difference.
I think the bigger issue is not making the entire digital library between all systems playable enhanced. That would impress the general public more than some boring ass spec spreadsheet.
That would have been bigger than BC on xbox because sony has the better catalog.
