I've been saying that xbox will be the stronger console on paper but ps5 will have some type of new memory solution that's faster than the series x.

My guess is that the ps5 will be more than 10TF but weaker than series x overall. The memory might give it an advantage in other areas outside of graphical power.

yeah, thinking the same. Sony Hardware engineers always do their tinkering with shyt. If they can somehow bring this shyt in at 399 (no way the XSX is 399), then that's still a great win.

Honestly if that's all it is then a pro model needs to be ready at launch. I'm not trying to fork over more cash when the REAL ps5 drops 2 years for now.

Microsoft is coming out swinging, and nobody who calls themselves a real gamer can deny that series x looks like a beast. Sony needs to bring their A game cause Microsoft isn't fukking this up twice.

Sony better not put out a system 25% weaker, while they're trying to explain why FULL backwards compatibility wasn't possible cause "buy psnow".

My mind is set on 499 and I'm fine with that price for what we're getting.

And I expect the ps5 and series x to retail for the same price. Manufacturing costs is probably the same for both systems, with sony investing more into a memory solution while Microsoft focused on raw power.

Whatever it cost them to develop and manufacture this new memory solution probably negated whatever money they saved on raw compute units.

Everyone needs to let that $399 price point go, and also stop with the assumptions that the series x will cost more due to it being more powerful. You're gonna be disappointed.

I seriously doubt it's that much weaker, but if it is, they better hope those investments into the memory and a new controller makes up the difference.

I'm talking seamless transitions and absolutely no load times after the initial boot up. That's where it seems like sony wanted to go with next generation so they better hope the difference is drastic between the two consoles.

Devs all over the place too. Shocked no one has leaked details. But then again, it's the dev kit so you can't rely on those specs.

I do wonder if the rumors of 2 consoles per company is true though....

I’ll admit...I’ll be disappointed if the PS5 doesn’t match up to the XSX performance-wise or come close and I have to buy 2 consoles again just for the added convenience of having a powerful console for 3rd party games and another one just for exclusives...nintendo good w/ me no matter what tho lol

I'm thinking advanced gyro stuff, the sensor capabilities that is supposed to measure pulse and heart rate. Hopefully news on the PSVR2.

How many times did you use the gyros in your PS4 Dual Shock? 90% of Playstation owners didn't even know they were there.

Sony better come with more than just a controller gimmick.
