I'm 21 from SF Valley and interested in science and medicine but quit high school. I just need a gig and stability. I feel like I'm drowning.

What exactly are you looking to do? Are you interested in science and medicine or is it just something you think will pay well? If you're interested in doing something tech related there are numerous bootcamps out there for free. If it's medical related, have you considered the military? You can get experience, money, and educational benefits to pay for your college once you're out.

I applied to one that just said "Modeling Agency" and after the interview, I looked them up and they were legit.

Interview next week. More pay, flashier job title.
Gotta knock it out the park before my evaluation from my hating ass ex supervisor is posted.

Good thing is, my current supervisor seems to be a sweetheart. So if the hiring manager reaches out to her, I should be ok.

The job is an internal job posting, so less applicants (bonus)
Just gotra practice on my valley girl voice and laugh :mjpls: and I should be ok.

Interviewer:"Describe something analytical you did"

exactly

I'm done w/ Indeed, applied to 10 places and nothing back, also how does an entry level job have so much requirements

I personally contacted a small company about being interested in a position, the person got back to me and asked me to send my resume directly to the email. It's been about a day now with no response, how long do these usually take? It's a small company so I dont think there is a vast number of people applying

so like I said, you're trying to be a brain surgeon.

unless you're saying ur trying to go into academia and research this subject.

either way you didn't specify, which is why I had that initial response. because there's no such job as neurology. :leon:

My whole career, when I've gone into interviews I've been clean shaven.

At this point I think my experience speaks for itself and want to keep the beard. Do you guys think it matters? Of course I will look clean regardless, but do you think it hurts my chances?

Edit: My joint kinda look like Cube here

My fault I meant just the research. I want to help people recover from certain damages to the brain.

I think you'll be fine, assuming you got it lined up

That shirt will hurt your chances tho.
