If we're gonna say that than the crowd still would have turned on him regardless of Bryan. Ambrose and Rollins were both way more over than he was, so if Bryan weren't there and Roman still got pushed over whichever of the two was still baby face after The Shield broke up, he'd still be in the same spot he's in now.One got amplified by the other. Everybody knew Roman was the chosen one, but he would have gone over much better with the exact same booking if Bryan (who was a much better candidate for the spot in pretty much everybody's mind) wasn't there.
He still would have gotten the Cena treatment but he I don't think he would have gotten theso soon before he got out of be gate if there wasn't a viable and obviously better guy that got passed up for him.

That's exactly what I said. It was gonna happen regardless but it got expedited before he could even get rolling because someone who was obviously more liked by the fans was there.
The only place we differ is when it would have happened. I don't think he would have gotten shyt on at this magnitude so fast because there's no way Dean Ambrose (the other remaining face of the Shield) or anybody else was going to connect with the crowd in the way Bryan did to get in the way of his initial come up.

That's the key. It's not Bryan, Roman, or the fans fault. It was a perfect storm of poor decisions by the management that caused all that shyt to go down. What makes it worse is that they have nothing to show for all those red hot fans, a red hot up and coming Bryan and a very over Reigns (the year before).
Looking at the E today, it's actually like none of that ever happened.

I don't mind Reigns now. I feel like he plays that "big dog in the yard" role pretty good. People booing him because they wanted surprise entrants...yall need to be booing elsworth wasting space. Those people should have boo'd Mojo Rawley completely out of the building. Cesaro and Shaemus didn't need to be in it, unless you're going to use it to put Cesaro in that final 4 or that last eliminated spot. There was no reason for Enzo to be there, he already did his mic work. There are other people who were in the rumble this year that didn't need to be there.

roman reigns can't wrestle. as someone who's been watching this shyt for 30 years, he simply doesn't have the IT factor that excites people. No good moves, no charisma. The Ultimate Warrior has more in-ring charisma and talent than this dude.
