No one hates Reigns the person. They hate the agenda of force feeding him down people's throats. Along with,

- Stupid character
- Stupid Superman Punch
- dull personality
- below average in the ring
- Rent a Cop costume
- Same Theme song as Shield

He's a mid-card talent at best who has absolutely no business main eventing Wrestlemania's.

Well when you make a guy have the same setup as big Scott hall.
All you will get is big Scott hall.
You can thank the lack of vision wwf, and their clique rules and template for why reigns fails.

It is the WWE who just uses templates and avatar booking.
Which is why talent like reigns fails.

yall nikkas stay trying so fukking hard.. the royal rumble was ruined the moment we realized the only people left to enter were lesnar, goldberg, taker, and a few other stars that didnt come out yet.. regardless of who came out at 30.. samoa joe or finn balor coming out at 30 instead of reigns would not have made the shyt any better

undertaker had to get eliminated by somebody, and rand wizard wouldve won regardless.. roman reigns was the furthest from the fukking problem

They got the fans expectations up..they brought back the most over star 3 weeks before and apparently people paid money to see him over everyone in that Rumble.

I was convinced Roman was going to win then as I was about to switch tabs Orton wins. I was getting ready for them boos.

OTOH I hope the Taker match goes well. Im just tired of the boos and want to actually see Roman progress.

He's probably facing Braun at Fast Lane to build to facing Taker at Mania

No question he's the heel in that feud. Just the way he was talking to Taker when he eliminated him.

Its too blatant. Even if the E tells us differently he'll be the heel in that.

Reigns's heel heat helped get Orton over. no one wanted to see Orton toss out Lesnar. The fans might have turned on him

They did the same for Haitch last year, no fukker wanted him to win but they would have cheered Colin Delaney winning the rumble as long as it wasn't Reigns.

He is not below average in the ring. I can't even remember the last time the dude went out and had a stinker of a match. You're just hating to hate

He's alright, but he wrestles the SAME match everytime. At least people like Miz put on different style matches every time.

I honestly don't see how this is a problem. If he gets cheered then you turn him babyface rather quickly with the same character that made people cheer him. It's ass backwards booking but that's what WWE has done the last decade, who cares if that's what it takes for that dude to get a break

Didn't see the Rumble but the logic here is 100% correct. There is no wrong way to do it if you get the end result you are looking for. He could still get over as a babyface if they'd stop beating their heads against the wall and think more creatively about what would actually get the job done. That's one of the unique things about the wrestling business: you can never say never.

I'm not saying he's great, but dude's lack of success has a lot more to do with his horrible push than anything else. He's been pushed so badly for so long that people have almost been conditioned to believe he was always hopeless as a talent, and he never was. They've just completely mishandled his career so far.

I can see that too but I'm seriously having a hard time remembering (please help) a guy that struggled due to being overpushed as a babyface that was able to bring the crowd back around as a heel with the same super push. It seems like people want to hate him, but I feel like it's due to exhaustion.

The Rock is the biggest example.

Roman would be getting booed regardless of Bryan because he's a stale baby face with a Cena-like Superman push.

One got amplified by the other. Everybody knew Roman was the chosen one, but he would have gone over much better with the exact same booking if Bryan (who was a much better candidate for the spot in pretty much everybody's mind) wasn't there.

He still would have gotten the Cena treatment but he I don't think he would have gotten the so soon before he got out of be gate if there wasn't a viable and obviously better guy that got passed up for him.

Rocky was pushed as a midcard IC guy. Nowhere near as hard as they did for Roman from 2012-2015.
Especially after Roman turned face. Rock turned a few months after he got heat and became a instant stand out on the mic.
