Backwards compatibility load times is the real test of next gen...?

X-bots ya'll.

The series X is definitely faster that can’t be contested but I don’t give a fukk because if we go by history we know who delivers on the game front and that’s what it’s all about.

it's a given that's microsofts backwards compatibility solution is superior to Sony's, y'all can have that.

Let's see a speed test with a next gen game. 2k21 should be one of the first good comparisons we get

It’s a celebration to have 7 year old games load 5-10 seconds faster and not even be able to hold a stable 60fps while playing? Lol

If they weren't at a higher resolution, the frame rate would be just as stable.

Next gen game, I expect PS5 to be faster, just not by much. Velocity was underrated.

The real test is actually going to be loading cross platform next gen games. But from the raw figures you would expect the PS5 to be handily ahead since (I think) none of the games shown had any optimizations to leverage either storage architecture. So pure drive speed should be winning.
