Behind You

  • The talent reported it to AEW after someone from WWE talent relations directly got a hold of them.
  • Talent referred the call to their representation and didn't directly speak with them.
  • Told AEW because they deserved to know.
  • Talent is under a full time deal and is happy with AEW and told them they have no desire to leave.
I'm assuming it was Adam Cole.

I’m thinking Swerve actually since Hit Row just came back

Story sounds like :duck:
Just some anonymous shyt that the "talent" doesn't want their name released but made sure to chime in that they really love it there? Sounds like TK doing his usual using the wrestling media to get some shyt going...gotta kill H's credibility with the internet crowd somehow since he has a lot of good will going...

I'll give AEW credit, their worked shoot style of strife, drama, and rumors of what may or may not be going on behind the curtain is giving them momentum the past few weeks, though I'm not of fan of all that I can recognize what's working for them, for how long idk.

CM Punk reportedly suffered a torn left triceps at AEW All Out last Sunday.

As we’ve noted, it’s been reported that Punk suffered a serious injury, perhaps to his elbow, while doing a dive on Jon Moxley during their All Out main event.

In an update, a new report from Dave Meltzer notes that Punk tore his left triceps while doing the dive.

It’s speculated that Punk will need to undergo surgery, but that has not been confirmed. There is also no word yet on a timetable for his return to in-ring action.

Injury Update on CM Punk Following AEW All Out Main Event

Looks like CM Punk isn't the only one dealing with torn Triceps

It was reported over the weekend that AEW star and former IMPACT world champion Christian Cage has been dealing with an undisclosed injury, which is why his victory over Jungle Boy Jack Perry at Sunday’s ALL OUT pay-per-view was such a short contest.

In an update from the Wrestling Observer, it is believed that Cage has a torn triceps, and will be on the shelf for roughly 6-9 months. This is the same exact injury that former AEW world champion CM Punk sustained at ALL OUT that will keep him out of action aside from whatever suspension/penalty he will receive for his actions at the ALL OUT media scrum and the ensuing backstage brawl with The Elite.

Cage joined AEW back at Revolution 2021, and has been one of the better protected stars inside the squared circle. He is one of a few top talents that defeated Kenny Omega, and has been involved with this feud with Jungle Boy for the last few months. On last night’s Dynamite Jungle Boy cut a promo revealing that Cage would need surgery, but that he will be waiting for him when he comes back.

Christian Cage Also Dealing With Torn Triceps, May Be Out Of Action 6-9 Months

Posted this before The All Out PPV, and only @Cattle Mutilation acknowledge it, thanks breh. Shame such a good ppv is being overshadowed by the "fukkery" but hey got to get daps and go viral I suppose

Seeing as this is the random AEW news thread, as opposed to the plethora of AEW threads with the same topic.

Any news on velvet, Layla Hirsch, and other wrestlers injured? Also will Jeff Hardy return this year or next year?

Layla Hirsch tore her ACL in April so she's not coming back for several months. No idea about Red Velvet, and Matt Hardy mentioned they should learn about Jeff soon. His court case starts in a month.

Don't you feel the same way as your fellow "sohh" alumni..how the "fans" finally got their wish of having 5'3 120lb wrestlers win world titles, wrestle at ppv, watched by thousands, cheered by thousands, brought in "big names" like the American Jobber, Punk etc. I mean take a bow guys, AEW brought CM Punk out of retirement, the best in the world. The guy who uses his "I wrestle in the biggest promotion of all time " against the Bucks and Omega's of the company, been then diss them out the other side of his mouth....

Or how about those bombs he dropped, one in particular he mentioned NJPW and ROH and other Indy darling's(Danielson, Moxley, Seth to name a few), which led to NXT (I'm aware of who had to give the final say so and make it a actual company) you remember right. He told Hangman he gave them "the blueprint", the house they built came from tress he chopped down. Surely you remember that awesome promo. Khan even said "this fukking guy" not Jericho, not Omega, not The Young Bucks, but "this fukking guy" No need to be sad, I'm sure Danielson will become Champion in AEW, heck he may be the first AEW and ROH champion.

Come on AEW galaxy, appreciate them

Hirsch tore her ACL back in April, she's still going to be out a while.

It's something how the culture has changed, seems like all women wrestler's in Aew are bottom heavy with the exception of Penelope Ford and Abandon who are more top heavy
