Biggest Crock Of shyt Ive Read Thus Far In The Young Season

Philly No Bynum And More New Players Then Boston

Knicks No Stat, No Shumpert, More New Players Then Boston

Throw Them Excuses In The Bushes :birdman:

1. None of those teams lost a hall of famer

2. The Knicks are a flash in the pan team... They went on their best runs of the season last year with one of their 2 best players out and Lynn running the team.. This quick start means nothing.

3. Bynum never played in Phillys system yet, so his absence is superfluous... Whos 2 say he wouldnt slow down the team??

4. What u don't understand is Doc runs a more intricate defensive system system than offense... Like the triangle offense, an acclamation period is required for newbies...And with Bradley and a guy who actually had alot of plays ran for/through (Ray Ray) gone sucking Lebron dikk 2 a hopeful 2nd ring gone; For a offense that didnt put up lots of points to begin with, this slow start was surely expected from anybody with a basketball brain.

Breh Its An Even Playing Field, Boston Aint Facing Any Issues That Other Teams Aint Going Thru Themselves And You're Outlook The Knicks And Sixers Are Just Guesses, Predictions.

It Shouldn't Take Learning An Intricate Playbook When 4 Of Your First 7 Games Are The Damn Wizards And Bucks lol

I Wasnt Even Calling Boston Out, Just Saying That Theres No Need For These Kind Of Excuses

I was at the game tonight.. he is so smooth, gets guys great looks consistently. Still, there is something about him.. where his impact just doesnt feel like the numbers add up. He doesnt have that dominant effect on the court that Bron, Wade, Rose, Kobe, KD, even Russ all have.

He hit some jumpers tonight tho :yeshrug:

but when he missed.. it was bad.

That's because there's no feeling that he could just take the game over with his scoring like those other guys. Nobody's worried about Rondo dropping 20 in the 4th.

I certainly wouldn't call him their offensive engine for the last 3-4 years, not at all - that's far from reality.
Really a matter of semantics, because whatever you want to label what he's doing...he's more responsible for dictating and running their offense than anybody else on the roster...which is of course is the point guards job, but rondo kinda embodies the shyt...there's points where dude literally orchestrates their entire offense...him being the entire to runs their offense is far closer to reality than him being some guy out there having no impact and putting up empty stats

So are the intricacies of a teams who's defense first approach which has led them to 3 conference finals since '08 on par with that of the Knicks or 76es :wtb: :heh:

Whats easier to learn mother goose or hamlet

I hear u in theory... But without a gelling process, and teammates not comfortable with each other, any team could be liable to lose to last year's Bobcats.. Floor Spacing, defensive assignments (in a unique system), etc.. are things that arent learnt overnight

Going from hitting a wide open Ray Allen for a 3 to blowing by your man (no homo) and deciding whether or not to dish it to Courtney Lee would have an average pg :mindblown: The fact that despite these things Rajon has managed to keep the team together and play at an MVP caliber pace is what we're celebrating... Pay your entry fee, grab a brew, and enjoy the party :lawd::lawd::salute:

6 points, and 7 assist equal 20 points.. but who's counting :ld:

6 points does not equal scoring 20 points. Nobody's worried about Rondo just taking over the game every time down the court and shooting in your face or getting to the rim and dropping buckets on you.

the assist bro

if he took 7 shots instead of those 7 passes.. you would have to most likely attributes those shotsto hif FG%.. so 14 points x fg% =

of course.. this is only mathematical.... he could have made those 7 shots.. or made 0..

he was responsible for at least 20 points being scored off his handles.

That's because they don't. There isn't one player I can think of in the last 10 years where their box scores are so out of sync with there actual impact and ability; this Celtics system and personal have been the perfect stat-inflater for Rondo, they've made him out to be a player that he really isn't.

Antawn Jamison :rudy: And you talking about impact and ability and all that shyt brah as if the Celtics been garbage since he came in the league, His impact is to blame for the Celtics success in the last 3 years, almost making it to the finals last year with no Avery Bradley, Ray Allen on one leg, Paul Pierce on one leg and a tired KG, the year before Dwade hurt him, he played with a dislocated elbow against The Heat in the playoffs and made an impact. Rondo's whole style is based on his Ability(Basketball IQ, Court Vision) Do you even watch Rondo play?

How you gonna ROFL with a hollow back?
His numbers this year compared to the other PG's in the league are outstanding. Look at his double double stats compared to the rest of the league, on Lebron has numbers that are clearly better.

been saying this for years. he's no threat in the clutch due to his abysmal FT shooting and horrible J. He puts up great numbers no doubt, but he'll never be a goto guy when the chips are down.

LOL, he is the quaterback of the team, the only reason the Celts are in close games in the 4th is because of his execution and play making ability. Until this last year everybody said the same about Lebron, but would his teams be in any position to make a run without him?

like I said, you can't be an MVP of this league when ur own team can't go to you for buckets in the 4th.

But the team is going to Rondo for buckets, he is setting up the buckets. If you saw the game the other day vs the bulls just as an example you would have seen how Rondo set up the last couple of buckets with good finds by the basket to break away. I really don't see what the difference is between setting up easy scores near the basket and actually putting the ball in the basket yourself.
