Let's be real, LSU's antics ain't only about Caitlyn Clark. There's more to it than that. Much more and it happens basically every single time.
"Cold-blooded, ruthless, assassin, calculated, etc." all words you heard/read blowing smoke up her ass for a defensive technique that players/defenders do dang near every single game.
The media and social media were using that clip to shame and embarrass SC and their players.
That's the problem here: nearly every single time they can't simply let one of their own be good and keep it at that.
They got to go the extra distance with the hype, passive-aggressiveness, backhanded compliments, etc. as try to shove them in everyone's face by making a big deal out of all the small shyt.
LSU knew the media and social media were going to try do it to them too.
That's why LSU players felt some way about it and added a little extra antics themselves.
Like if everyone wants to bring all that energy and attention, then LSU can make a big deal out of winning a game and simple basketball plays as well.
They weren't going to take the classy, humble approach to winning because they knew if they lost they were going to get dunked on afterwards.
They simply met everyone with the same energy they were being met with.
Bottom line: if you want to overreact and overhype, then the other side can act petty as a response and rub it in when they win.
Plus they knew Caitlyn Clark was going to talk shyt so they threw it back at her. That's just competition.
If the media didn't make such a big deal out of it, it probably would've been left as that.
Going a little extra was to emphasize how everyone was overhyping up her antics in the first place.
