At the beginning of mean streets
Yes ma'am it damages them even if you are just looking at it mentally especially as black children because modeling is so racist.

Sista as I have always said. I will never sell my children out. Ain't no price on my childrens well being mentally and physically.
It’s a sexual exploitation. Most these celebrities be on drugs, depressed or commit suicide cause they begin abused and controlled.

Nothing you said here has anything to do with what I've stated. My goodness, in OTHER threads I've made the "what about Weinstein posts"...BUT THAT ISN'T ABOUT R. KELLY'S GUILT OR INNOCENCE, IT'S ABOUT HOW THE MEDIA PICKS AND CHOOSES WHO WILL BE THE FACE OF CERTAIN CRIMES. I honestly believe each and every one these stories about R. Kelly. The issue is that people like you are making this about all black men, when black men as a whole aren't supporting or defending him. I'll simplify it:

-R.Kelly, THE INDIVIDUAL, is accused of crimes.
-people like you and Matt start making it about all black men
-black men are not the ones supporting him, people are even showing your pictures of his concerts filled with black women in the crowd
-yall ignore this and start talking about this vague "yall hate black women" stance when the topic is R. Kelly as an individual.

You would have a point if black men were buying his albums and tickets, but we aren't so who should your vitriol be aimed at for this topic?

Our vitriol should be aimed at both R Kelly and the people in here literally blaming the victims and taking the position that they don't give a fukk about what happened because they enjoy his music and he wasn't found guilty. The women that attend his concerts aren't posting on the coli, we are corresponding with people that post on the coli.

It's baffling how nikkas in here playing the "well what about...." game when grown ass men in here (on the coli) shytting on the victims of a predator and calling him the goat. This is what I'm talking about when I say these nikkas have deep contempt for Black women, they can't even empathize with victims of abuse because they like music.

oh ok. Nothing I've seen so far was illegal. I'm not sure what happened with the marriage with Aaliyah, I thought the license said 18. What's the law.

The rest of these women are of age and wanted to be stars.
He lied on the certificate she was actually 15 and he only was doing it cuz he thought she was pregnant

you're talking about yourself. You do that every time your make these " nikkas have deep comtempt for black women" comments when the topic is one person's crime. And why don't you address the fact that black women are the ones actually supporting him in real life? Stop being a coward and speak about the people supporting him in real life. You come off as a fraud in your attempt to be a hero for women. You come off as a person that just hates black men and you're trying to use this R. Kelly thing to attack black men.

Anyways the vast majority of people here think he's a creep. There's a small enough number of people for you to call out about calling him the goat. You're the one saying "nikkas" and "black men" then acting like you don't understand the push back.

Let me know when you actually organize something to stop R. Kelly though. I want to know what you're actually going to do about it.

@Matt504 man dudes in here are exposing themselves and need to be banned. I don't know how they can fix themselves to say what they say in these posts and say it in public/physical life also. Imagine having a discussion in a college class and hearing this stupidity from them. Always love to bring up men in everything. If its not to complain about white men, its to bring up black boys being molested and how they need attention too. Anything to take away from feeling any sympathy for black girls. They just hate it. its too much for them.

There has been nightly specials on Trump. Are you just speaking out your ass or actually in this current world? by the liberal media there has been numerous specials on Trump's allegations. Even besides that white supremacy is what keeps him in. How many times are we gonna do the "what about ____white person" when one of our precious black men get in trouble? You don't get tired of it?

Name me the last time a Black woman got in trouble and you or someone else said "Well what about_____white female who did such and such"?

When Kelis admitted that she and Nas both were hitting each other and we had moments where Tomiee(however you spell her name) from Love and Hip Hop would hit police officers, was ANYBODY on the coli going on about "Wait its not fair when she was alive Amy Winehouse got arrested numerous times for hitting and spitting on cops....Heather Locklear was hitting people" @8WON6 let me know did this happen on the coli?

When Solange was attacking Jay, did people defend her and say "Well what about ____white female who did it" or did they complain about the double standard with a woman hitting a man? Which I can understand by the way but what I'm saying is why do we not use the "what about this white female" argument with black women the way we do with black men/white men"?

I've noticed this nonsense for years and yall gotta take accountability and own up to that same hypocrisy you claim.

Nigerianwonder your point about Trump/R Kelly is even more ridiculous because what i'm saying cannot be denied. Since 2015, the media has turned into Trump TV 24/7, I can promise you if you watch CNN/MSNBC/FOX NEWS, this entire weekend you will see barely one mention of R Kelly but 1000 mentions of Trump. I get convinced many of you on here just talk to talk...its like how half of yall lied how the "media" is always going in on Chris Brown in when they haven't mentioned him in YEARS

All these black blogs like TheShadeRoom, Bossip, Mediafakeout, etc have talked more about this R Kelly story. CNN/MSNBC/Fox ain't talking about Kelly...they talking about immigration, shutdown, taxes, Trump, Trump, Democrats, Trump, Republicans....etc...

I can separate the artist from alleged and I say alleged acts. I also am not a fan of retroactive punishment for dirt from decades ago. Born in the 90s will still get play, like it or not....

People didn't speak up 25 years ago, but now some people see hashtags and their shot at 15 minutes of fame, so now they get a spine to tell some fables? And you take it at face value? Music industry is not that much separated from the underworld, you want fame and fortune, you gotta pay the Piper...so to speak...

It's not about alleged victims, it is about people pushing out their own little projects on the back of the #metoo business for their little podcast or mixtape on iTunes....

Should show nikkas how important it is to be in your children lives especially your daughters

Because everyone on this board know someone just like R Kelly in your hood, if u live in the hood..

Just look at these 23,25,30 plus dope boys, ballers who prey on 17 year old high school girls, so they can turn them out

Agreed. I'd say boys need special attention too so they dont become one of those 20ish d-boys who think its acceptable to hit on high school girls. In addition, I think boys need to understand that their worth as men isn't tied to the amount of ladies they bag. Minus the kids that R Kelly allegedly turned out, he had his fair share of grown women, and part of the allure was that playa image. I'm no feminist, in fact I loathe feminism, but the glorification of womanizing amongst men needs to be addressed.

You got dudes on here who think being pro-Black means not pawging, but then turn around and think its acceptable to smash every sister moving. That kind of lifestyle and behavior is symptomatic of just how dysfunctional society is today. Folks treat STDs, b*stard children, broken hearts, etc., like it's not a problem or something. A lot of that falls on men not being mature.
