Simple truth for me is she isn't as attractive as the other top girls. There was one picture though she looked good. But it's simply about women don't want to see themselves in her. They want to be the cute girl. So her image is one.
Also when songs play many people sing along and adopt the attitude and temperament of the song and artist. It's like play acting. Like a rocky horror show.
Play a song about being rich and having clout and partying and having fun and people will go along with that feeling. They will do the actions that go along with it. Do the opposite and it won't work no one wants to sit there and do that.

to me, remy looks better than cardi. great to look at doest mean particularly exciting to listen to, she doesnt flow or ride beats particularly well. also, i think her image is of some great rhymer when shes only pretty good. shether was overrated. if weve learned anything these past couple yrs, people still love to hear diss records but that doesnt translate to them buying your music.
