no one said you can't take time between albums, but that's not the way shyt works today for most artists. why you playing dense about this? this isn't the 80's/90's when an album cycle could last two years and it was common for big artists to lay off for 3-4. very few artists in this climate get that privilege. add to the fact last year clearly showed a shift in momentum for her - people actively rooting for her to lose. you'd be naive to think that where she was in 2015, which was already a decline from 11/12, is where she is today.People can't be between album cycles?

people pay attention to the drama, that doesnt = record sales and ticket sales.
finally, the song with gotti was one of her better moves, but she got cold reception to other music she put out, including the remy ma respnonse
why do you lack the ability to be objective with artists you like? this is crazy. i'm not rooting for her to fail, but between the music climate we're in, history, and a contingent of people who do want her to catch an L, it's not absurd to think she won't be putting up the same numbers in 2018.
