according to that pc versus console thread, you can't tell the difference between 1080p and 4k, so I don't know how anybody could possibly tell the difference between 1080p and 900p. 
If this were true you would never buy new shyt and stick to nothing but emulators and roms

1. Didn't realize UFC was 900p on both the Larry and PS4. I smell forced parity on that shyt. I'm quite sure that game could be 1080p on the PS4. fukking BF4 ran at 900p/60 on the quad. KZSF is 1080p/30 locked on campaign and UFC is only 900p/30?
