What you guys don't get is everyone doesn't like these fantasy rpg complete the stoey-type games.
There used to be a time when there was a large variety of games appealing to EVERYONE. As a result, there were thousands of games on other consoles.
But RPG games became the most popular standouts, and that's what companies started gravitating solely towards.
SO, when you hear ppl complaining about gaming being trash now, or they rarely play their console, etc, this is why.
For those of you who love those type of games, it's great for you. Therefore you don't have a perspective on other people's opinions.

Nobody got tired of sports games. Game companies bought licenses to kill the competition and subsequently put out subpar games and THEN ppl just gwve up.
Don't believe me? Look at how many ppl have bought a PS5 and Xbox X strictly for the new college football game.
