yea I've seen the uncut version and there is some pedo shyt for sure
never seen this movie, but have heard of it before, I heard it was a good flick but now you all have ruined the movie for me

Didn't care about the girl at all and thought she was there to give the movie a creepy atmosphere.
The restaurant scene (where she drinks wine and laughs) was especially awkward and made me feel sorry for Leon for being in that situation.
But then that's my weird take on a weird film, and I'm probably in denial about it being a pedo flick.

The Brotha's Got His Own Money
Jean Reno's character work as a hitman makes the film for me. I fast-forward through the intimate moments with Portman because it's a little much. I imagine if I were raised in France, I'd shrug to it, but American puritanical beliefs are difficult to shake.

I prefer the theatrical cut over the extended version with all the risque scenes added in, Jean Reno's still that dude tho

She was 16 years old when she married Besson (who was in his 30s) because she'd fallen pregnant with his child. They met when she was 12, started dating when she was 15, and the film is supposed to largely inspired by their relationship."
