I strongly believe it's exciting players. The WNBA had some nice buzz till Coop fell off

Azzi Fudd was being compared to Curry. If she would’ve played the whole season, she would’ve been player of the year.I don’t think race played as much a factor coming into the game as it was the two superstars, like Caitlin Clark was putting up 40 pieces before the game.
Not saying that race didn’t play a factor but it became a bigger factor post game.
Pacing is not the issue. The only play 85% of an NBA game (40 minutes) so scores are not going to match the NBA.
I have to disagree. Male ballers are what they are because their size and athleticism shrinks the court as offensive forces. Make the court 88 feet and the rim 9 feet and you'll get a female LeBron/Giannis.
Your concession about smaller hands extends beyond just their hands.
Tennis and soccer are not basketball.
Plenty of people would want to see a female LeBron/Giannis. The idea they have to be a tranny to be that means you're not willing to see something other than what you think.
The league is in summer to ensure some degree of viewership, it's only competition is "dog days" baseball when that world is bored/itching for the playoffs. Nobody would care when basketball is being played if they want to see the product, Olympics and World Cups don't have this issue.
Shorter games has nothing to do with viewership.
Hard to market stars when your product isn't being watched and your best player can barely do what the undersized 10th man on an NBA bench can do.
I can watch women's games as they are but the physical inability to make electrifying plays has a bigger hand in the WNBA's middling status than you want to admit. Offense is not an issue as the women had 4/5 shooters regularly on the court before the men did.
Too many people believe they can replicate what those women do, whether true or not, and don't see their game as a spectacle to behold.
I'm repeating the same shyt people said 20 years ago because it was never implemented. How is something that isn't being attempted "obviously not working"?
We know they don't have the same athleticism. Change the dimensions to accommodate. When that actually does not boost anything, then the conversation changes.
Lower the damn rimYour argument says they aren't scoring relative to the men
There is nothing wrong with WNBA offenses, scoring can only go up by reducing the shot clock. They play the amount of games they play because, as I said before, they will get 0 viewership in the end of the year. The league burns more money trying to run WNBA games in Nov/December with men's ball and football.
If you think they should play more minutes, then time and/or quarter structure needs to change in high school and college also. Not much different than dimensional changes.
Again, can't market what most people don't care to watch. Until women's pro ball is seen as a sight to behold, it will continue being what it is.
I don’t think race played as much a factor coming into the game as it was the two superstars, like Caitlin Clark was putting up 40 pieces before the game.

You clearly aren't watching WNBA because they were putting on a master class of scoring
And you clearly didn’t read my post. Las Vegas was the only team to crack 90 ppg during the regular season. 4 teams couldn’t even average 80.
If all the teams averaged 90+ per game, it would be more exciting. There’s only 12 teams so the talent on each team should be denser.
The problem is, the game hasn’t fully evolved. Especially in the front court. Players 6’2 and up are regulated to the post. Most of them can’t handle the ball. It’s just different.
Eventually things will change.
Not when you only play 36 games and not when you only have 12 teams in your league. And because of how the season is schedule, some players literally play year round.90 points a game in 4 10 minute quarters is asking a lot.
