The problem is..the belt is a mockery of history while Roman is lazy and hiding the real belt.
Song and Fits that's the crutch of this entire run. Everyone that he's beat was/is until Punk came back was the better person to be the champ. However, you could argue that if Balor won, we probably don't get this epic version of Nak right now. But, this version of Nak after fending off Seth trying to get his belt back. Could have been in a feud against face Drew. Drew as a heel or face was the better option over Seth. I don't mind Seth, and I know they don't like hot shotting the belts anymore. But, the way Seth is getting outdone would have been title changes during the Attitude Era.
I also don't think he really got his "heel" persona over. I think he just got the laugh to roll with how the fans took to his song. If he didn't have the theme that they want to sing, I don't think he would be as "over" reaction wise. I mean look at Jerikkko in AEW people love to sing his song, but he's no where near "over" in a great way

Would more say the problem is WWE not pulling the trigger on Cody Rhodes beating Roman Reigns at last year's Wrestlemania and splitting the belts. From the jump, WWE has made the belt Rollins is holding second rate despite their efforts to elevate it to another level. Guess it's the gift and the curse of Reigns's success.

Seth lost to Cody 3 times then got a title that the biggest guy on the show doesn't even care about. He might be the 3rd guy on the show now that Punk is there. Maybe 4th depending on how people feel about Gunther.

The authority/architect Seth Rollins was good. Even his latest heel run was good but he’s been inconsistent during his whole tenure in the WWE. I’m not talking about in ring…he’s GOATed in that category but in terms of his gimmick and character.
Seth has the best serious look in the business. As great Punk was during their promo, Seth completely outshined him and it was refreshing. He needs to stop being a goofball and just be a cocky a$$hole that knows he’s the best in the world without a script and the theatrics.
