never that but priorities first..which doesn't include arguing with a floyd super stan/troll who can't remain impartial and logical in his thinking and reasoning about a aforementioned fight and a 12 year old fight of his and to point out little nuances about it :umad:..so yeah ask your supervisor for more work to do..learn a new skill or something breh
I asked for a 3 simple gifs or videos and Im a super stan.............

The people who defend Floyd Mayweather today, by and large, defend him because he's undefeated and he's black.

He's a SUPREMELY skilled TECHNICAL fighter.

But he's boring as shyt to watch.
And he's very calculating in whom he fights, and WHEN he chooses to fight them.

Floyd Mayweather is a rich man's Pernell Whitaker.
He'll go down among the greatest of all-time.

But he's not a tough fighter. He doesn't engage often.
And he'll never get the respect that Sugar Ray Leonard gets.

Mayweather isn't a warrior. And warriors are who get the love and respect in boxing because they put themselves on the line.

It comes down to personal preference.
You could watch Floyd Mayweather make Canelo Alvarez miss 500 punches....or you could watch Arturo Gatti and Mickey Ward in 30 rounds of pure war.

Whatever you choose is absolutely perfectly fine.
But it highlights your preference on what you like to see and what you respect more.

How does he hit and cause his opponents to hit him with connect percentages in the teens?

Like what you're saying doesn't make sense...you say he runs or is skiddish. Others have pointed out that you can cut the ring off or punish him on the ropes...
also what fight was the one he ran in? Can you name one fight this happened in especialy in the last 5 years, I'd be interested in knowing who the opponent was and also what you call running. I guess dodging punches is not acceptable in your book of manliness.

I didn't say Floyd runs or is skiddish.
I said he rarely engages.

He connects at a tremendously high percentage.
But he hits, moves...hits..moves....2 hits...moves.

It's a fantastic skill, and he's great at it.
It's wonderful technical boxing.

But it's boring TO ME and on a certain level, it lacks courage to stand toe-to-toe with a man.

I don't care if you like Floyd's style of boxing. A lot of people do.

But I find it boring. I think it lacks any real sustained action.
And I don't really care for it.

got you confused with OP

again, that's the science - why would you sit in the pocket and wait for retaliation that makes no sense. Pacman doesn't do it either - i don't know too many elite boxers that stand in front of their man and don't utilize movement to confuse or disengage from the opponent.

you pacman literally smack his opponent and the bouncing out of of harms way circling, circling, circling and engaging...do you agree with that?

I think Pacquiao throws more combinations than Mayweather does...even though Mayweather lands at a higher percentage.

Pacquiao's activity is probably what makes him the more sensational fighter to watch.

For the record, I think Mayweather would beat Pacquiao.

lol, your last sentence is almost like telling a black person you have black friends!!

Seriously though, Pacman does the same thing - the only reason I brought him up is because he's known by casal and evne non-casual fans as being the anti-thesis to mayweather; yet, he doesn't engage 100% of the time - he jumps in bang bang bang bang bang and jumps out and circles, circles, circles.

Yes he throws more combos- but Mayweather's work rate is jsut as high and obviously Mayweather is more of a counter puncher which decrease a bit of the sensationalism and action.

LOL
It's not that I'm trying to be patronizing with that last sentence.

It's that I want to be clear...even though I get bored with Mayweather's fighting, I admit that he's great.
Just because I don't really like the guy doesn't mean I am delusional enough to think anyone can beat him.

hey i agree with you there. But I think I'm reacting more to what i read in the OP and again a bit of what you said, (although I mistakenly quoted you with the response to the OP).

I enjoy Mayweather fights and I see similiarities regarding avoiding full front assualts amongst the elite boxer- I think Mayweather doesn't get credit for engaging especially ove the last 5 years and also gets unfairly criticized for doing the samething other boxers do but just being better at it (i.e. not geting hit)

His fight with Cotto was actually fun to watch.
So was the one with De La Hoya, even though I felt De La Hoya won that fight.

Mayweather's got...like 3 or 4 more fights on his contract with Showtime, I think.
I just don't see anyone coming along in the next two years that will give Mayweather a loss.

So really, his place in boxing history is already set.
