No one understands where it really came from. They were 30-11 when he was fired and in first place. Two days later the Bulls were done the same way the Cavs were done with a first year head coach and they just kept trucking along.

Like I said earlier, I really don't think LeBron stans understand the significance of Blatt's firing. I imagine a lot of people who aren't in his circle may look down on this.

Why

Lebron is the star lebron calls the shots

if he don't like the guy, he gotta go

period

jordan got doug collins fired back in the day

Blatt is a nobody coach, yall acting like he did this to larry brown or something

c00ns keep c00ning tho

Stop blaming basically a brand new coach when all he did was bring you to the finals and let them have one of the top records in the league.

Maybe the blame should be on the bumass organization and loser of a leader instead?

Dude tries to passive-aggressively shyt on every coach he gets. So far he's 2-2 for getting a coach fired while leading the Eastern Conference with another hand picked superteam

LEBRON BROUGHT THEM TO THE FINALS

are you fukking kidding me

if Lebron stayed in MMA, the cavs would be irrelevant just like the heat are now

you can't be fukking serious

Coaches are protecting one of their own and know or have experienced star player power first hand
No.. Its cause if this works..and god.knows it juste might as Cavs still has a decent shot at the title (they have the talent not the chemistry) this could potentially start a trend

The thing is do they try to keep this coach and have their superstar go against him (Bron was on his bullshyt with those clips in that other thread) and potentially walk? Or let go of the person who was brought in to groom young players anyway? You could have the most talented team in the league but if they as a whole or the on court leader doesn't respect him that's a tough spot.
The coaches are pissed (or 'embarrassed' as many have said) because he was the first international coach to come to the NBA and was basically shyt on and spit out the league

Not sure why people are surprised coaches have reached the way they have

Coaches are protecting one of their own and know or have experienced star player power first hand
I agree with these
Did any coaches cape like this for Mark Jackson when he was relieved of his duties in Golden State?
While Jackson did a good job turning them around, Warriors were 6th in their conference and lost in the 2nd and 1st round the years he was there. Not quite the same.

Mark Jackson wasn't fired mid season and after reaching THE FINALS. I'm someone who believes GS did him dirty, but had he gotten to the finals and then started 30-11 the season after? He'd still be there. They thought MJaX was underachieving so they canned him. Which I disagree with.

Also, there's no talk about how improved the East is this year? And they were still 30-11 :dahell:

They should have fired him last off-season. If Lebron and the rest of management feel they can get a better coach, they should have done it off-season. Now Blatt and Lebron are embarrassed. He really messed up with this decision. They could have gotten a full training camp under Lue and preseason to work out the kinks. Blatt could have gotten another NBA job. I think he would do well with a young team trying to build a culture and with management that can at least hold his hand the first two years. He's not a stupid guy but he was thrown into a situation which he didn't plan on. Lebron should have fired him earlier and it would have been better for the both of them.

This coming from a :sadbron: stan

Oh, and since he brought them there he must've lost it for them as well, right!?

They lost because they got beat by a better team

without Lebron they wouldn't even made the playoffs

look at the heat

it's suppose to be a super team, they disappeared from the eastern conference without lebron, so much for a super team

you a moron

Who caped for Kevin McHale? He made a deeper playoff run than Mark Jackson and was fired 11 games into the season.

Warriors greatly improved under Kerr and became champs. Rockets are not any better than they were under McHale but some posters just can't help themselves and gotta make everything about race.
