Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
I've watched it 3 times, the last 2 times just trying to understand what people love about it. I don't get it and I never will. I hate that movie
it's the fact that they actually played an entire movie backwards and it made sense

and while playing backwards, you still are shocked and surprised pretty much the whole way through, then find out the main character

is really just crazy the whole time, and the dude he killed in the beginning was really helping him... and he purposely wrote "don't trust him" just to so he'd fukk him over later when he forgot why he wrote it

So we can come to a consensus that the original dude was killed right after using the teleporter the first time ?

Well even though there's technically not an "original" per'se, it's ambiguous who was who.... but it is without question that one killed the other and that other drowned itself in the box. The ending, Angier tells Borden that he does not know if he'll be the one that's in the tank or the other that's not. So, it's a repeated cycle with no clue which was which.

GREAT COMMENTARY..... pretty much explains how and why this is one of Nolan's greatest films.
