@yoyoyo1 u can see it that way but if gsp is really the competitor (that wants to test himself against the best) as he always claims :beli: its not exactly gamely to call it a career or delay the rematch hendricks (who beat him) deserves

:what:

This has nothing to do Rogan, Dana and anybody you just mentioned. MMA fans, fighters and reporters all praise and recognize GSP as one of the best fighters in MMA history.
The same mma fans and reporters that were lobbying for chael to have an instant rematch for losing a title fight? the same mma fans and reporters that staunchly agreed with the decision of griffin/rampage? or that edgar beat bendo both times those ones? yeah their opinions really matter

- Fact #1, GSP, at worst, has a top 5 resume in MMA history. Pretty much every fighter you named was ranked in either the top 5 or 10 in the WW division.
and that is why your argument is so flawed, rankings in many cases are just smoke and mirrors. Like dan hardy for instance unless you want to say finishing gono/marham is an achievement goin to a hard fought decision with injury riddled swick and m davis shouldnt afford you anything but a ticket out of prelims. But hardy was given a title shot, why? becuz gsp needed lamb to slaughter and zuffa thought the move would cement their presence in the uk...nothing more..the same with alves take out the hughes win which was a mirage and the koscheck fight (which kos took on short notice) its silly to speak of him as a top whatever dude can just beat the middle of the road journeymen but not top talent and its been proven

What exactly were serra and bj's rank at ww when gsp faced them :pachaha: the former had to do a comeback style reality show just to become relevant and the latter had only 1 fight at ww 2 yrs prior :yeshrug:
- Fact #2 (in relation to the second post): GSP has the most top 5 and 10 ranked wins in MMA history. He's ahead of the likes of Fedor and Anderson. This means he's faced and beaten the best his division has to offer.

GSP's resume shows that he's faced and beaten the most 'legit contenders' of any MMA fighter.
like i already surmised mma rankings could be very deceptive to the untrained eye the fact that gsp hasnt finished any of these "ranked" fighters but they've managed to take out eachother speaks for itself :ld:

I'm actually a bit shocked that Hendricks won by decision even though I put in a long shot bet on that. :manny:

i'll admit, i dont like GSP (even moreso after he lied on saturday, the nikka thought he lost....) but to shyt on his resume :patrice:
the way he marked up condit, the decisions over some of the world's best WWs, the matt hughes series, beating shields. He's a great fighter with a great resume.........

but he still lost that fight, period.

Roman Brady clearly has an agenda against GSP, his opinion on the aforementioned fighter can't be taken be seriously.

Hendricks tapped early in the fight anyway. If gsp had held the mounted choke a little longer it would have been more apparent.
